Europe recorded its lowest level of foreign direct investment in a decade in 2025. Against this backdrop, Belgium maintained its 8th position among Europe’s FDI destinations despite an 11% decline in project numbers. At the same time, job creation rebounded by 13%, driven by a limited number of large-scale projects. In the perception survey, Belgium also stood out positively, with 72% of executives expecting its attractiveness to improve over the next three years.
